Time just flies... And so it did in case of first year of MBA at TAPMI. Tuesday, April 11th 2006, goes down the lanes of history, as our classes come to an end. Sayonara to PGP-1 classes, Batch 2005-07. It was an interesting and eventful first year at TAPMI. Exams starting day after. Am a little nostalgic too, as I look back and realise many things which i could have and should have done better.

I remember the words of Robert Frost, "Woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep. Miles to go before I sleep........."

Here, I will be posting some of my Project Reports done as part of my MBA studies here at TAPMI. Here is the first one. More to come...

1) Implementing Wi-Fi at TAPMI

A recent project which I undertook on behalf of my working group here was under the subject ISBT (Information Systems as Business Transformers). The choice of project was left free to us. Here I sensed an opportunity to get fulfilled my long-desired wish of having a Wi-Fi campus at T.A. Pai Management Institute.

Hence, I did the project titled, "Implementing Wi-Fi at TAPMI". It explains what all you need to implement wi-fi at a campus, or building or premises for that matter. Basically, I have broken the myth that wi-fi is costly/difficult to implement. Also, I have shown how existing computers, without wi-fi capabilities, can connect to a wi-fi network, using simple devices as attachments.

My First Post

after a lot of delay, here i am, finally with a blog of my own... :-). after hearing and reading so much about blogs these days, i was kinda feeling alienated from the world, not having a blog. long way to go from here. its a nice sunday morning. my theme-6 exams at TAPMI start on thursday (13-April-2006). got to study a lot this week.
